What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls to address member eligibility, prescription benefits, claim payment issues, and patient services needs
- Update billing information, establish payment plans, and resolve payment inquiries
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently
- Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication
- Assist with research and resolution of telephone inquiries from members or patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Previous data entry experience
- Prior scheduling experience
- Experience in a high-volume call center preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using customer service software
