What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle phone inquiries regarding membership benefits, pricing, and processing efficiently and professionally
- Participate in outbound calling to exceed service expectations and achieve specific goals
- Assist customers with website navigation, registration, and password resets
- Respond to inquiries related to AMA products, subscriptions, and fulfillment issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer service interactions and ensure resolution of inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of customer service and/or telemarketing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with service center tools (e.g., telephony and measurement applications)
- Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with physicians
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain organized information on customer interactions

- Advanced knowledge of AMA structure, products, and current physician advocacy issues
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to member service
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-volume environment
