Job Description Summary:
This position provides a wide variety of enrollment services and student records
processing in a caring, timely, and accurate manner. The individual responds to complex inquiries regarding office, federal, state, and University policy and procedures and interacts with students, parents, faculty, staff, outside agencies and the general public.

Enrollment Service Processing:
Independently perform the following processes/procedures:
Personal information adjustments.
Registration and schedule adjustments.
Transcripts.
Enrollment verifications.
Major/minor declarations.
Non-degree seeking admission.
Manage and reconcile non-degree seeking BDM images.
Building off-line student records into Banner.
Cross-training on and support of other office processes.
Customer Service Interactions:
Provide appropriate and professional customer service during all interactions (in person and by phone) .
Refer internal and external customers to the appropriate department for assistance.
Provides a wide variety of enrollment services, analysis, and student records processing in a caring, timely, and accurate manner.
Responds to complex inquiries regarding office, federal, state, and university policy and procedures.
Interacts with students, parents, faculty, staff, outside agencies, and the general public, as well as providing data processing and student record maintenance services.
Respond to all inquiries received via the University Registrar's Office general email account.
Administrative Functions:
Perform daily office functions that include but are not limited to opening and distributing mail, and making deposits.
Facilitate training and direction of student workers on front office processes and procedures.
Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies; restock as appropriate.
Purge electronic enrollment verifications according to the state and University requirements.
Maintain files to comply with state and federal retention guidelines.

Any and all other duties may be assigned to meet the goals and/or needs of the Office of the University Registrar specifically and the university generally.
Salary up to 42,000 commensurate upon experience.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact/communicate with a diverse population in an effort to promote exceptional customer service.
Strong organizational/time management skills.
Ability to make independent decisions utilizing complex guidelines. Strong data and records management skills.
Demonstrate general office skills and proficiency with MS Office.
PreferredQualifications
Experience with higher education.
Experience with student information systems (i.e., Banner).
