What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide customer service for basic and routine inquiries via telephone, emails, web chats, or written letters
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, or chats and make outbound calls regarding Federal Student Aid (FSA) Loan Servicing
- Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting
- Process requests received via general correspondence and document actions taken in response
- Maintain regular use of feedback tools to provide and receive constructive feedback on call quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Must reside in the U.S. and be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently
- Must pass a criminal background check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with customer service in a financial or educational setting
- Familiarity with federal student aid programs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work scheduled holidays, overtime, and weekends
