What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls and provide resolutions by researching inquiries and initiating necessary processes
- Process billing requests, including account changes, payment modifications, and refund requests
- Handle manual premium payments and service requests via phone or check
- Complete insurance verifications and follow-up calls for missing items
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service
- Associate's degree in business or a related field
- Experience in the insurance industry or call center environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Fluency in Spanish
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy workload
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime
