What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide responsive customer service regarding material and order status via phone and email
- Coordinate issue resolution between customers and internal departments
- Meet internal sales and service goals while monitoring personal progress
- Create, update, and maintain reports related to orders, issues, and sales performance
- Perform order entry and assist with quote preparation as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Solid computer skills (beyond basic proficiency)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to resolve issues effectively and a dependable work ethic
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College degree
- Experience in the metals industry, especially in customer service, sales, or purchasing roles
