What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison for members and providers regarding eligibility verifications, authorizations, referrals, claims, and policy inquiries
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring first call resolution
- Identify and escalate priority issues to create efficiencies in customer service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and complete call logs
- Navigate multiple systems to resolve customer issues effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Call center experience preferred
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in a related field or Healthcare Management
- Experience in customer service roles, particularly in healthcare settings
- Strong relationship-building and critical thinking skills
- Proven track record of service excellence and accountability
