What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle customer service activities related to self-pay and insurance billing inquiries as part of the revenue cycle process
- Assist patients in resolving billing issues, including setting up payment plans and addressing complaints
- Provide detailed documentation of customer interactions and track trends for supervisor review
- Communicate and follow up with customers to ensure timely resolution of inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance and ethical behavior
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare environment
- Previous service or call center experience with strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

- Experience in a complex, multi-site healthcare environment
- Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment
