      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Respond to patient and guarantor inquiries regarding billing issues, including payer denials and demographic updates
      - Provide timely and professional account analysis and resolution during initial contact whenever possible
      - Document all patient interactions and account actions to maintain a clear audit trail
      - Utilize Epic and other systems to gather information and resolve patient inquiries efficiently
      - Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate billing and resolve complex issues

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or GED equivalent required
      - 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or collections in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
      - Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
      - Knowledge of Epic billing systems preferred
      - Ability to handle a high volume of calls, typically 40-50 calls per day

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree preferred
      - Experience in medical billing and insurance processing
      - Familiarity with legal basics and medical terminology
      - Proven ability to resolve complex patient issues independently
      - Strong commitment to ethical conduct and patient confidentiality
