      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Respond to patient and guarantor inquiries regarding billing issues, including payer denials and verification of insurance information
      - Provide timely and professional account review, analysis, and resolution of inquiries
      - Utilize Epic billing systems to obtain information and perform actions on patient accounts
      - Document all patient interactions and actions taken to maintain a clear audit trail
      - Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex billing issues and ensure accurate patient billing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or GED equivalent required
      - 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or collections in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
      - Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
      - Knowledge of Epic billing systems preferred
      - Ability to maintain high standards of professional conduct and comply with HIPAA guidelines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree preferred
      - Experience handling a high volume of calls in a customer service environment
      - Familiarity with medical terminology and billing processes
      - Background in financial assistance policy and patient financial counseling
      - Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in resolving issues
