What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Address client and provider inquiries via email, fax, phone, and written correspondence
- Answer and return phone calls and emails from clients, providers, and internal offices
- Review provider history and consult with supervisors or other departments for clarity
- Maintain reports and spreadsheets as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience in Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries
- Working knowledge of medical billing, coding, workers compensation, and Medical Bill Review
- Experience with HCFAs and UB billing forms
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with good organizational abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
