What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle daily member telephone calls, directing them to appropriate services and providing education
- Problem-solve and create linkages to the Medical Management Department for service authorizations
- Assist providers with eligibility, benefits, and resolution of claims issues
- Ensure high-quality customer service to our Medicare population
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and service requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service-related role with direct contact with customers via telephone, email, chat, or face-to-face
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One (1) year of experience in a physician healthcare office environment or high-volume call center
- Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions
