      Primary Responsibilities:

      - Respond to incoming calls from customers regarding benefit eligibility questions and prescription status inquiries.
      - Guide and educate callers on their prescription benefits, plan usage, formulary, premiums, and order and claim status.
      - Ask appropriate questions, actively listen, and document required information in computer systems.
      - Identify issues and provide solutions and steps to customers, pharmacies, and physicians regarding prescription orders and reorders.
      - Make outbound calls to customers regarding prescription orders and payment issues.

      Required Qualifications:

      - High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 2+ equivalent work experience.
      - 1+ years of customer service experience, including phone service.
      - Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including navigating and learning new and complex computer systems.
      - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
      - Ability to work any 8-hour shift schedule during normal business hours, including one weekend day shift.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      - Call Center experience.
      - Experience with a virtual learning environment.
      - Experience with a virtual working environment.
      - Experience working with Digital platforms and systems (Web, Chat, email).
      - Familiarity with the Health Care/Insurance environment, including medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design.

      Telecommuting Requirements:

      - Must have a dedicated work area that provides information privacy and is separate from other living areas.
      - Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure.
      - Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
      - Must be able to directly connect to the internet via hard wire (either to modem or router).

      Soft Skills:

      - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
      - Anticipate taking 30-50 calls per day.

      Physical and Work Environment:

      - Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, and use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse for long periods while working at a computer.
