What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve incoming calls by answering questions, performing research, and initiating additional processes as necessary
- Process billing requests, including account number changes, payment type changes, and refund requests
- Handle manual premium payments and other service requests from calls
- Complete insurance verifications and policy summary requests
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service
- Associate's degree in business or related field
- Experience in the insurance industry or call center environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy workload
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Fluency in Spanish
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime
