What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate quality and accurate quotations, purchase orders, and work orders to exceed customer expectations
- Maintain and grow sales from current and past customers while prospecting for new business
- Perform data entry and ensure accuracy for orders into Oracle
- Coordinate scheduling and delivery for multiple plant sites
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing and customers, responding to inquiries and providing product knowledge
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education; Bachelor's degree is desirable
- High math aptitude for calculations related to customer orders
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask with high organizational skills and make proactive decisions based on customer needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in construction products sales
- Bilingual abilities
- Previous experience in the roofing industry
- Project management and negotiation skills
- Ability to read building drawings
