What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to caller inquiries regarding TRICARE benefits, contracts, eligibility, and claims through phone and written correspondence
- Successfully complete five weeks of paid new hire training and apply learned duties in a virtual setting
- Document inquiry outcomes accurately for tracking and analysis
- Coordinate with team functions to address TRICARE member requests and questions in a timely manner
- Manage follow-up communication with callers and escalate complex requests as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in eligible states: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Ability to attend and complete seven weeks of paid training
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience handling inbound calls in a customer service or call center setting
- Familiarity with TRICARE benefits and services
- Proficiency in MS Windows and other computer applications
- Reliable attendance history and strong integrity in customer service
- Ability to adapt to various customer situations and resolve conflicts effectively
