- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Proactively approach customers to identify their needs
- Direct customers through checkout lanes to minimize long lines
- Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
- Receive and direct customer phone calls
- Assist Customers to different areas of the store as needed
- Align with company programs to drive consumer loyalty
- Maintain store safety standards and store cleanliness
- Assist with Point of Sale
- Verify customer identification in order to adhere to policies for serving minors
- Process transactions efficiently
- Balance a register drawer and accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions
- All other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Ability to use technology applicable to the position
- Dress and present self in a clean and professional manner
- Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must be 21 or older
- Must pass background check
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
The Customer Service Support position serves an essential role in the Customer Service experience at Applejack Wine & Spirits. The Customer Service Support Staff is responsible in providing fast and friendly customer service, directing phone calls, helping as a back-up cashier, and assisting all customers at the Service Desk.
