What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current products and services offered by the employer
- Answer all calls and emails in a timely manner, adhering to performance goals
- Process orders, verify insurance eligibility, and communicate with patients regarding documentation
- Navigate multiple online EMR systems to obtain and enter relevant patient information
- Facilitate resolution of customer complaints while ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- For senior level, two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial health plan methodologies and documentation requirements
- Experience in a Medicare-certified environment
