What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve coordination of benefits inquiries by analyzing patient activity, including enrollment and claims attachments
- Educate customers and dental professionals on eligibility, benefits, claims payment, and authorizations
- Thoroughly document all customer interactions and provide accurate information through various communication channels
- Take ownership of the resolution process and set expectations for follow-up
- Suggest improvements in service delivery processes to contribute to the organization's success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment
- Ability to multi-task using multiple applications simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to troubleshoot computer issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of medical/dental terminology
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid
- Familiarity with claims, billing, and coding processes
