What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Log and classify all calls and requests for assistance in the call tracking database
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding technical issues with software and electronic products
- Filter and escalate inquiries as appropriate to ensure timely resolution
- Track inquiry resolution progress and proactively update customers on status
- Follow appropriate procedures to resolve issues on the first call whenever possible
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience
- Basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to actively listen and comprehend complex technical issues
- Call center experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role, particularly in a technical support environment
- Familiarity with software or electronic products relevant to the employer's services
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive service attitude with customers
