Import Compliance – Assist with Import/Export Regulatory Compliance with administering Customs Laws relating to Imports & Exports. Provide Guidance to Pfizer Sites and Customs Responsible Colleagues. Assist with producing metrics, establishing SOP’s, organizing training, and manage record-keeping.
Customs Valuation – Provide guidance to Sites and Brokes on Customs Valuation. Work with Pfizer’ s Customs Brokers and Sites to adjust values with Customs as required.
System Maintenance –Database Maintenance – Utilize SAP GTS databases to monitor Import/Export Compliance information for completeness and accuracy. Work with BT to troubleshoot maintenance issues. Provide assistance to develop, enhance, test and improve Pfizer’s GTS Systems. .
PGA Compliance – Monitor the Health Agency status of Pfizer’s products, produce reports and metrics. Coordinate with internal Regulatory Compliance, Customs Brokers and Pfizer Sites to ensure correct data is in Pfizer’s systems to minimize delays and ensure compliance.
Process Management – Oversee Pfizer’s Customs Brokers and ensure operational compliance for the Pfizer Sites to be managed. Produce metrics to identify Non-Compliance issues. Work closely with Pfizer’s Sites to provide Guidance on Import Compliance matters
Projects – Develop metrics, research data, test systems needed to promote the Import concerns of the company.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources, OR related field required OR associate degree with 4 years relevant experience, OR 6 years relevant experience with high school diploma
2- 5 years of experience in International Business with Pfizer, an Importer, Customs, Customs Broker, Consultant, Attorney or related industry
Strong English written and spoken skills

ROLE SUMMARY
This key role supports Pfizer’s compliance with Import regulations. The position’s focus is to assist the Director Trade Controls Import/Export in developing and maintaining key initiatives. In the US and Canada, the Customs Analyst is the primary interface between Pfizer and our Brokers, Customs, Government Agencies and our several Pfizer Sites.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
OTHER: This role requires the colleague to lead as part of our Trade Controls Management Team. Comprehensive knowledge of major international trade laws, policy and requirements; Knowledge of Customs, Health and other Agencies requirements. Must have the ability to conduct professional presentations before management and colleagues. Must have the ability to build relationships with counterparts in Legal, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement and other related business areas in the organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $62,800.00 to $104,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 7.5% of the base salary. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.
