What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, enhance, and execute security operations processes
- Implement, configure, and operate security network, system, and data controls
- Analyze and interpret security and compliance issues, providing mitigation plans
- Monitor and correlate security event information to detect and mitigate threats
- Communicate security-related concepts to both technical and non-technical teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years of overall experience in Cyber Security/Information Security
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Incident Detection, Incident Response, and Forensics
- Strong understanding of network concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and TLS
- Proven ability in assessment and mitigation of vulnerabilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, Offensive Security, or Ethical Hacking
- Strong Linux fundamentals
- Experience with EndPoint Security applications and threat modeling
- Familiarity with Firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPN technologies
- Excellent customer service skills and a solid team player mentality
