      GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Working in tandem with the Manager – Cybersecurity Operations, position will be responsible for the development and overall improvement of UDR’s Security Awareness Program; inclusive of program monitoring and reporting. Position will be expected to provide coordinated oversight as needed for other security programs in addition to the management of all departmental documentation, ensuring it is updated and relevant.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      1. Foster relationships within IT as well as throughout the Company driving improved training and threat awareness.

      2. Enhance security communications to be more informative and engaging to our associates.

      3. Oversee, review, and document our approval processes such as AI, software, etc.

      4. Develop and maintain a FAQ page or similar site whereby our Cybersecurity team can easily find answers to common requests and processes.

      5. Improve metrics and reporting across the cybersecurity landscape.

      6. Assist and eventually assume daily and monthly maintenance tasks currently managed by the Manager - Cybersecurity Operations as it relates to tickets, forms, scorecards, boards, etc.

      7. Serve as liaison with Governance, Risk and Compliance team to monitor and report on 3rd Party risk.

      8. Ensure contact information for applications and vendor management is current.

      9. Partner with and assist Security, Systems and Network teams with planning and coordinating tabletop exercises.

      10. Provide guidance and support to all new Cybersecurity Analysts.

      11. Work with the IT staff and other end users to enhance security measures.

      12. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

      PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve everyday company issues. Critical understanding of UDR’s operations, business drivers, systems, and values. Superior analysis and communications skills are critical and the ability to be self-sufficient in a fast-paced environment is required. Strong organization skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be skilled in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, and clarifying next steps to meet deadlines and achieve desired results. Must have the ability to manage workload, assist in assigning duties regarding security issues, ability to develop efficient and effective processes, and to communicate with managers and staff at all levels of the organization. Ability to travel as required. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of computer systems, products, services, and applications. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.

      TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. Travel up to 10%. Rotating on-call required.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, related field, or its equivalent experience, required.

      2. Minimum of four years’ experience in IT services is required along with a broad knowledge of technology products and services.

      3. Security certification a plus.

      4. Knowledge of SAT (Security Awareness Training) platforms is required.

      5. Ability to understand audit requirements and produce evidence/reports as needed.

      6. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license unless otherwise noted.

      Salary Range:
      • $96,000/yr. – $124,000/yr.

      Bonus Potential:
      • Eligible for 10% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance
