What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Information Security team with security assessments and risk management to ensure compliance and enhance security program effectiveness
- Support threat detection and incident response using SOC platforms and tools
- Analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights and create clear reports/dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine the institution's cybersecurity program and assist with stakeholder communication
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity and information technology
- Understanding of vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies
- Technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex security issues
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, customer service, and professionalism
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Interest in learning about vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing security landscapes
