Job Description

- Collaborate with business partners across departments to understand their data needs and objectives.
- Perform database design activities, installations, and testing based on user defined parameters.
- Help troubleshoot and repair databases and maintain database security.
- Design and execute data analysis plans, leveraging SQL or similar tools to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct statistical analysis and identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Develop and implement data visualization techniques (e.g., charts, dashboards) to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
- Support the creation and maintenance of data pipelines in collaboration with engineers and data scientists.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging data analysis tools and technologies, recommending and implementing new solutions when appropriate.
- Generate data-driven reports and presentations to translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards data-driven goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in applicable field.
- Two (2) years of related experience in data analysis.
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting, client relations, ingenuity, formulating and contributing ideas, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve data-related challenges.
- Experience in working with databases.
- Proficient in SQL or a similar data querying language.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau…
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with advanced SQL functions.
- Experience with SQL workbench.
This is a temporary position for up to 12-months with the opportunity for full-time employment. Commensurate with performance.

PURPOSE
The Data Analyst, under general supervision, gathers, compiles, analyzes, interprets, reports data and identifies patterns. The position will play a vital role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
