What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze integrated datasets from various sources to identify trends and assess business impact
- Develop and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL, Microsoft Excel, or other analytics tools
- Contribute to project planning and execution with limited direction from leadership
- Perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings to leadership and customers
- Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management, or 2 years of IT experience
- Working knowledge of SQL/querying languages
- Preferred knowledge of programmatic coding languages such as Python and R
- Familiarity with statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques including basic data modeling and trend analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Healthcare analytics experience
- Knowledge of modern business intelligence and visualization tools, including Microsoft PowerBI
- Experience providing technical guidance to junior analysts
