- Work with cross-functional teams to understand "why" behind business needs, explore future opportunities, and develop data-driven solutions that deliver value.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to build scalable, well-structured datasets that support analytical use cases.
- Present key findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way to support effective decision-making.
- Analyze unstructured data (e.g., text, documents, customer feedback) using Generative AI tools to extract insights and support business strategy.
- Experiment with and apply GenAI models (e.g., AWS Bedrock, SageMaker) to enhance data interpretation, automate reporting, and generate predictive insights.
- Define metrics and analytical strategies to uncover customer insights and measure performance.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across sources, driving toward a 'single source of truth.'
- Build and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and self-service tools to empower teams.
- 1-3 years of experience analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Proficiency in SQL with some knowledge of Python / R.
- Experience working with data warehouses, unstructured data, and AWS services alike.
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, or similar.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling (a plus).
- Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) tools and frameworks on AWS (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, or custom LLM deployments) a plus.
- Strong communication skills in an agile environment with the ability to work independently.
- A background in finance or retirement planning (401(k), IRA, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- A Bachelor's degree in statistics, finance, or a related quantitative field (Master's preferred).

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $93,000 - $110,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
