      Finance of America Holdings LLC, is seeking Senior Data Analyst in Plano TX. Telecommuting permitted.

      Summary of Duties: Handle large data sets containing sales numbers, market research, logistics, or data from other business activities. Apply advanced technical expertise to improve and preserve the quality and accuracy of data. Format data for further analysis, decision-making, or reporting. Data analysts work closely with their scrum development team and other enterprise data teams to continue improving the organization. Write advanced SQL queries that analyze source data to understand relationships within the data. Perform advanced data profiling to better understand the data contained within the systems. Create source-to-target mappings that capture business logic, data standardization rules, and data integration logic that can be used by the ETL team. Identify and interpret patterns within very large data sets. Work closely with business partners to resolve data discrepancies, explain data findings, and garner final approval of the source-to-target mappings. Work closely with the data modelers, data engineers, and QA team to ensure that the data is properly loaded into the data warehouse. Telecommuting is permitted.

      Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field), Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Software Engineer, or related.

      Position also requires five (5) years of experience with: Performing data analysis in a data warehouse, data mart, or business intelligence environment; Agile development and Scrum operations; Requirements gathering & end-user testing/validation; SQL; Data mapping, Data Modelling and Data migration; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Database structures; Data visualization and dashboarding; SSIS Packages; and SQL Server. Must also have three (3) years of experience with: Business Process mapping and design (Visio); CI/CD and DevOps frameworks; Python; Cloud computing platforms; and Azure.
