What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and review daily operations of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), including system configuration and user license maintenance
- Provide technical support and conduct audits to ensure compliance with HMIS policies and data quality standards
- Analyze data to identify trends and assist in planning and decision-making for housing and services for homeless individuals
- Collaborate with contract managers to ensure accurate data setup and adherence to reporting requirements
- Train community agencies on data entry, data quality, and reporting processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, social sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in software implementation/administration and relational databases
- Strong understanding of relational databases and HMIS systems or comparable databases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and data visualization software
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, both verbally and in writing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in Human Services
- Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Knowledge of homeless housing systems and coordinated assessment practices
- Experience in project management and quality assurance methodologies
- Proficiency in using SQL for data extraction and analysis
