      Job Summary:

      The Data Assistant, will support informed decision making by gathering data, providing basic analysis to support the departments strategies and initiatives. The Data Assistant works with senior colleagues to develop innovative data analytic methods and helps interpret analysis results. The role also contributes to data processes and maintenance, ensuring accuracy through entry, reconciliation, and upkeep. Additionally, the role assists in data abstraction by capturing, reviewing, managing, and manipulating administrative and educational data elements; completes data reports for internal and external reporting; and resolves reporting issues as needed.

      Essential Responsibilities:

      • Clean and organize data for targeted variables systematically.
      • Assist in data entry querying, merging, organizing, and extraction from various sources.
      • Assist with data review and preparation for analytic efforts, ensuring quality and accuracy.
      • Supports data processing by performing data adjustments conducting routine data uploads; maintaining records of verified adjustments and reconciling common discrepancies and escalating issues needed.
      • Respond to standard and routine requests for data within the team.
      • Supports the process of creating, streamlining, and maintaining data organization systems
      • Conduct basic analyses, including descriptive statistics
      • Organize reports and participate in development of presentations to tell a compelling story
      • Assist in interpreting data analysis outcomes to influence decision-making.
      • Assist with surveys by testing them, monitoring responses, and generating reports using specified templates.
      • Assist in developing outcomes and process measures for educational program evaluation.
      • Document business requirements and support data collection methods.
      • Collaborate with team members to address educational program evaluation objectives.
      • Collaborates with others to solve business problems; escalates issues or risks as appropriate; communicates progress and information.
      • Recognizes and advocates for methods to address areas of improvement.
