Location: Memphis - TN USA, onsite

Job Summary
Datacenter - Hands and feet support .
We are seeking experienced System Engineer who are setting up and installing new hardware, performing regular maintenance, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues with data center equipment and Fix or replace faulty components at the Data Center.
Roles and responsibilities:
· Equipment Installation: Setting up and installing new hardware, including servers, storage systems, and network devices.
· Equipment Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance tasks and replacing parts as needed.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues with data center equipment.
· Repairs: Fixing or replacing faulty components to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
· Cable Management: Organizing and managing cables, including labeling, routing, and ensuring proper connections.
· Remote Hands Support: Assisting with remote configuration changes, equipment resets, and other tasks as required.
· Inventory Management: Keeping track of equipment and supplies, monitoring stock levels, and ordering replacements when necessary.
· Monitoring: Keeping an eye on servers, storage arrays, and network switches for performance issues.
Required Skills:
· Router basic configuration,
· Switches basic configuration,
· Rack and Stack Servers
· Work with cabling vendor.
Work location will in Memphis, TN, USA and will have to work from data center.
Salary: The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
