      Job Description:

      Seeking an experienced Data Center Site Lead to manage day-to-day operations, team performance, infrastructure planning, vendor coordination, and customer support at our Plano, TX data center.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Team & Operations Management

      • Lead and support data center operations team, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
      • Coordinate with cable, media, and support teams to ensure quality execution of tasks.
      • Manage incident tickets, site escalations, audits, and compliance activities.

      Customer, Vendor & Site Access

      • Escort and oversee vendors/customers in secured areas.
      • Approve and manage site access in compliance with DXC security policies.
      • Support client builds and infrastructure projects.

      Service & Incident Management

      • Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
      • Participate in planning meetings and change reviews.
      • Conduct pre- and post-change validations and root cause analyses.

      Inventory & Asset Management

      • Perform equipment audits, tagging, and updates in inventory systems.
      • Track, scan, and validate all assets and storage items.

      Shipping/Receiving

      • Handle shipping/receiving, documentation, and proper storage of IT equipment.
      • Process RMAs and maintain dock/storage organization.

      Physical Media & Equipment Handling

      • Manage physical media tracking, mounting, and shipping.
      • Perform basic hardware installs/removals, power/cabling, and troubleshooting.

      Cabling & Infrastructure

      • Plan, install, test, document, and troubleshoot copper/fiber cabling.
      • Maintain accurate records in DXC tools and create BOMs for cabling projects.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
      • 6+ years of industry experience; 2+ years in a similar role.
      • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and IT equipment.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ITSM systems.
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work rotational shifts (incl. nights/weekends/holidays).
      • Primary Shift is onsite at the Plano, TX data center.
      • Candidates must be authorized to work in United States without the requirement of sponsorship.

      Preferred:

      Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
