Pennsylvania - Any CCA Family Service Center Data Coaches responsible for supporting grades K-8 will allocate their time across three main tasks: facilitating data conversations with teachers during PLCs, handling MTSS-related duties, and providing support and resources for mastery-based learning and may be assigned to assist with providing interventions to learners per their supervisor’s discretion.
Data Coaches responsible for supporting grades 9-12 will allocate their time across three main tasks: facilitating data conversations with teachers during PLCs, handling MTSS-related duties, and providing support and resources for standards-based learning and may be assigned to teach up to one course with a reduced caseload and/or provide intervention support per their supervisor’s discretion.
Supporting the planning, development, and implementation of CCA’s newly adopted schoolwide Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework for their assigned grade levels.
Facilitating high-quality professional learning using various methods to enhance teachers' expertise in MTSS, data analysis/literacy, and assessment.
Collecting and analyzing student data to drive interventions for improving student achievement.
Assisting educators in applying evidence-based interventions and differentiated instruction within the MTSS framework.
Leading data-informed discussions by engaging in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and utilizing the Data Wise school improvement process to foster a collaborative teaching environment focused on enhancing student learning.
Ensuring that staff possess a thorough understanding of grade-level or content curriculum standards and the relationship between standards, instruction, assessment, and data analysis.
Providing continuous support for assessment practices, aiding in the evaluation of assessment techniques and outcomes, and communicating results to both internal and external stakeholders.
Offering guidance, professional development, and coaching on establishing challenging student learning objectives aligned with grade-level or content area standards, as well as creating high-quality, standards-aligned assessment tools in collaboration with the Learning Department.
Participating as a key member of the MTSS team, reporting to the School Improvement Department, and receiving supervision and evaluation from administrators within that department. Each Data Coach will be assessed based on their leadership alignment with the position and their contributions to achieving the role's overarching objectives.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong project management abilities with acute attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficient in leadership, change management, and fostering a growth mindset.
Technologically adept, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs, and open to learning design work in edio.
Collaborative nature with a track record of being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-centric approach with a high degree of adaptability.
Willingness to work remotely and occasionally during evenings, weekends, or travel to family service centers.
Experience in working with and/or motivation to gain expertise in the Danielson Framework, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Data Wise.
Demonstrates a strong understanding and expertise in the principles and applications of adult learning theory.

Full-time (10 month) plus up to 20 summer days with a stipend of $250/day

5 years teaching or Level II teaching certificate
Expertise and training in one or more of the following areas Literacy/Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies
Master’s degree in education, Special Education, business, or other related field
Expertise in Literacy, Math, Science or Social Studies
Reading Specialist Certification or area of expertise
Background in online learning, teaching, and curriculum
Valid PA Driver’s License

Position Summary
Commonwealth Charter Academy is seeking Data Coaches to support the teaching staff in fostering evidence-based, inclusive instructional practices through the lens of Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Data Wise to meet the needs of all students. Data Coaches play a crucial role in building and sustaining an instructional culture focused on collective inquiry and data-driven analysis to enhance student achievement. Moreover, Data Coaches serve as assessment experts, offering training and resources on the administration of CCA's diagnostic, benchmark, and common assessments to support teachers in effectively utilizing assessment data for instructional improvement.Explanation of Role
