  Payroll Processing Associate
  Location: onsite, Columbus, OH 43235
  Pay Rate: $18.80/hr, paid weekly
  Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  Duration: 1 year+
  Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll transactions using internal systems and platforms (training provided).

  • Handle manual check requests and ensure payroll accuracy.

  • Utilize internal web-based applications, including Time and Labor systems.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts regarding payroll issues.

  • Analyze and interpret payroll-related statements from management.

  • Operate a 10-key calculator and perform accurate data entry with minimal errors.

  • Adapt to changing schedules and work overtime as required.

  • Manage both union and non-union wage plans (training provided).

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment while demonstrating dependability and a positive attitude.
  Minimum Qualifications
  • Education/Experience:

    • Payroll experience preferred but not required.

    • High energy, reliability, and the ability to learn quickly are essential.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access (primarily for data entry).

    • Strong typing skills and keyboard proficiency.

    • Familiarity with 10-key calculator operations.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work well in a team setting and independently.

    • Flexibility to adjust hours and work extended shifts as needed.
