  Data Entry Specialist, CNET Group

  The Opportunity:

  CNET Group is seeking a technologically savvy Data Entry Specialist who will play a foundational role in sourcing, organizing and accessing testing data across disparate sources and teams. This role requires a strong collaborator and communicator who feels equally comfortable working with people and databases. They will consider the use of creative workflow tools that help accomplish a task, and can efficiently manage their time as part of a wider project. The successful candidate has a deep appreciation for product testing, and can operate independently, while also participating in broader team efforts.

  This position reports to and works closely with CNET Group’s Labs Director.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard product testing data across teams and sources
  • Help drive the evolution and adoption of internal tools
  • Gather and distribute data as needed for teammate use
  • Uphold standards of data accuracy and critical attention to detail
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional partners
  • Embrace a problem-solving mindset to tackle challenges
  • Communicate effectively with Director of Labs

  Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of direct or commensurate experience in a data or project management role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with peers and leaders across time zones
  • Ability to organize and execute on complex projects
  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive; strong organizational skills
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and team player
  • Keen and proven attention to detail
  • Familiarity with product testing, tech publishing and journalism a plus
