What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate Prior Authorization requests
- Gather, organize, and prepare clinical documents for entry into the appropriate system
- Review documentation for discrepancies and resolve issues using standard procedures
- Input, update, and verify data in specified systems or spreadsheets
- Communicate clinical review decisions to pharmacies and providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with data entry software or CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
