What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage data owners, stewards, and business users to ensure implementation and management of Data Governance and Quality processes
- Administer data governance and quality software, maintain a corporate data dictionary, and ensure data quality standards are met
- Coordinate and assist cross-functional teams in planning and executing Data Governance oriented business processes
- Measure progress against data definition and quality performance targets
- Maintain data governance processes and controls, analyze impact of future changes on critical data, and mitigate potential risks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of data governance policies, standards, and processes
- Proven technical expertise in data warehousing, data analytics, and data quality software
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation of data governance and quality issues
- Self-directed with excellent initiative and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and translate business needs into functional and/or technical requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of data governance and data quality
- Proficiency in SQL and data profiling techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Access
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or data centric role
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
- Preferred experience in banking or mortgage industry

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytics or data-centric role in the mortgage industry
