What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in configuring and maintaining business glossary terms and technical metadata within the Informatica Data Governance and Catalog platform
- Partner with technical teams to ensure proper configuration of metadata filters and system account privileges
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions to translate business needs into Informatica configurations
- Support testing and validation of metadata changes, enhancements, and platform updates
- Learn and apply best practices for data governance, metadata management, and data quality implementations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Interest in data governance, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) or Google Workspace
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with data governance tools, frameworks, or methodologies
- Experience in project management or stakeholder engagement
- Basic understanding of data analytics or data management principles
