      Successful candidate will be responsible for liaising between Product and Technology regarding data governance implementation for a respective Data Domain, activities to include identifying lineage, critical data elements, authoritative data sources, data quality rules, and investigating any data-related issues. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of attribute-level data lineage, critical data element decomposition, application performance and other measures to gain insight and drive data governance planning and data remediation.

      Responsibilities:

      • Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts in partnership with Product and Technology partners and stakeholders
      • Manage complex application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products for Citi Services.
      • Contribute to formulation of strategies/processes to implement Citi Data Governance Data Policies
      • Responsible for data quality validation and remediation from root cause analysis through remediation planning and providing input to Product and Technology based on analysis of information
      • Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources

      Qualifications:

      • 6+ years of relevant experience
      • Technical experience to include intermediate/advanced SQL skills; Python, Java, COBOL, Visual Studio, Ab Initio, Data Lineage capture tools (i.e.: IBM Manta, Ab Initio MetaHub), or other development languages helpful
      • Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools
      • Proven diplomatic and analytical skills
      • Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs
      • Experience in systems analysis helpful

      • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
