What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute ETL processes for data migration from legacy systems to target platforms
- Perform data profiling, structure analysis, and modeling for new migration solutions using data manipulation tools
- Maintain and optimize PLSQL and SQL solutions to support data migration and merging
- Collaborate with migration team consultants and engage with end users to ensure quality and efficiency of migration processes
- Provide clear documentation of migration processes, data mappings, and data quality checks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Solid understanding of data transformations and ETL workflows
- Experience in data migration projects
- Strong SQL development skills, preferably within Oracle environments
- Ability to engage with customers/end users and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in local government data migration projects
- Familiarity with other databases such as Ingres, Postgres, or MySQL
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, or data integration tools
