      Data Migration Lead

      Role for 18 months to oversea Data Migration and access to data/systems required for the transition of care to Evelina PTC - Children's Cancer Centre

      We are looking for experienced Data Migration Lead to join the Evelina PTC - Children's Cancer Centre Programme hosted by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

      Important

      This post requires extensive leadership and data/system migration experience leading data migration and system transformation programmes of work. Ideal candidate will have delivered data migration or technical change programmes for previous EPR implementations or system transitions, such as Epic to Epic or Cerner to Epic, within the NHS.

      Main duties of the job

      We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Migration Lead to join the IT Clinical Systems Directorate to be responsible for leading the Data Migration work for the PTC - Children's Cancer Centre including leading the planning, technical development, testing and implementation of the Data Migration approach.

      This is an opportunity to lead a data programme to support the Epic/Digital transition of a specialist Children's Cancer service into the Apollo Epic, whilst considering related digital solutions that are in place across multiple sites, supporting more than 50,000 staff, at GSTT, KCH and partner organisations.

      This data migration role, that will work to the PTC - Epic/Digital Programme Manager, will be responsible for migrating >5k patient records, and associated archive data, from partner organisations at RMH and St George's.

      To lead Epic system data migration and Non-Epic system data migration (where confirmed in scope) to support transition of PTC to Evelina.

      Managing the day-to-day running of the data migration sub-workstreams dealing with the demands of various users.

      Management of data migration into Apollo Epic from partner organisations.

      This roles will require Cross-site working, based at Education Centre (3 days on site minimum, 2 days WFH) with 2-4 days per month at partner organisation sites (e.g. Royal Marsden, GOSH, UCLH and St Georges).

      • Project management qualifications: PRINCE2 Practitioner MSP Practitioner or Certificate in PPM; or APM Certificated Project Manager; or PMI Project (PMP) or PMI Programme Professional (PgMP)

      Desirable

      • ITIL Foundation qualification Relevant/significant leadership experience in the delivery of large scale configuration management
