      ALDI is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is looking to build a career in data protection. The ideal candidate would have background in working with the OneTrust privacy tools and a passion to make data protection their future as they play a critical role in the Legal team ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.

      Position Type: Full-Time
      Work Location: Naperville, IL
      This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which requires work in-office at least 2 days per month.
      Duties and Responsibilities:
      Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
      • Coordinates, reviews and evaluates the life cycle of confidential and sensitive data, including the collection, storage, use, transfer, retention, and destruction of information.
      • Coordinates and conducts analysis for business-wide programs related to privacy, including facilitation and assessment activities.
      • Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
      • Reviews privacy and security controls and makes compliance recommendations.
      • Researches and responds to privacy-related inquiries from internal and external customers.
      • Researches current privacy industry standards.
      • Responds to privacy and security surveys and questionnaires required by other program areas and other risk identification initiatives.
      • Monitors and analyzes privacy-related legislation.
      • Assists with evaluating third-party contracts regarding privacy practices and controls, as appropriate.
      • Prepares ad hoc reports on privacy analysis for the business.
      • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
      • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor's Degree required.
      • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Legal Services and Privacy related field required.
      • Experience in privacy analysis, information security, or process management work required.
      • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
      Physical Requirements:
      • Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
      • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
      • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
      • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
      Travel:

      • Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
