      Data Relationship Manager (6 Month Consulting Assignment)
      Salary : Open, will be commensurate with experience
      Location : Montvale, NJ - Remote

      Overview
      Our client is seeking a strategic Data Relationship Manager to bridge the gap between data and business strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, communication, and problem-solving. You'll translate complex data capabilities into actionable business insights and ensure that data-driven decisions are empowering every corner of the organization.

      Responsibilities
      • Serve as the primary liaison between data teams and business stakeholders across the enterprise.
      • Build trusted relationships and act as a strategic advisor to executives and functional leaders.
      • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable data initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes.
      • Manage a portfolio of stakeholder relationships and oversee data-related requests, priorities, and expectations.
      • Identify opportunities for data to solve business problems or unlock value.
      • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to scope and deliver impactful projects.
      • Champion adoption of data tools, products, and governance practices across business units.
      • Conduct training sessions, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

      Requirements
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
      • 4+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, consulting, or business analysis.
      • Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts (data warehousing, dashboards, reporting, data governance).
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
      • Proven success managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
      • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

      Preferred:
      • MBA or advanced degree.
      • Experience in data, analytics, or technology organizations.
      • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data platforms.
      • Background in project management, change management, or user adoption.
      • PMP, CBAP, or similar certification.
