Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Data Scientist based in San Francisco, CA. Duties: understand Shipt data in order to optimize processes and make predictions to improve our product and customer experience. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related quantitative/STEM field (foreign equivalent accepted) and 24 months Proffered position or similar position (e.g., Data Analyst, Statistical Analyst, Statistician) working with statistics and an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python). In the alternative will accept a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Management Information Systems, or a related quantitative/STEM field (foreign equivalent accepted) and no work experience but candidate must have gained sufficient experience in statistics and an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python) through the advanced coursework. Salary: $121,487 to $242,974/year. This position is hybrid. A candidate may work from the company’s San Francisco address or from the candidate’s home address, which must be within commuting distance, as authorized by a manager. Limited travel to company’s offices for work reasons may be needed.
