What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build, configure, and support Database Cloud Infrastructure both on-premises and in Azure & AWS
- Partner with Product and Development Teams to optimize application back-end database code
- Provide technical guidance and support to the database administration team in daily operations
- Lead the resolution of complex database performance and scaling issues
- Stay updated with current industry trends and technology to enhance database effectiveness

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technology field (master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise databases
- 3+ years of experience managing databases and data systems in Azure and/or AWS
- 3+ years of experience with data systems backup and recovery, HA/Replication, and disaster recovery
- Strong experience with automation and scripting in languages such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, or Bash

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of ITIL IT Service Management framework
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Managed Instance and AWS RDS
- Expertise in optimizing complex Microsoft SQL Server statements
