What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop database structures and process changes based on specifications from planning sessions
- Ensure compliance with data security and access models
- Adhere to federal regulations for the Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS)
- Collaborate with development and data management teams for database change requests
- Provide expertise in planning and modernizing the agency's data assets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7-9 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server/Reporting Services/Business Intelligence
- 10+ years of experience with Transact-SQL and SQL
- 7-9 years of experience with HTML DOM and Windows operating systems
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and JSON
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Agile Software Development Process
- Familiarity with software development life cycle impacts due to requirement changes
- Knowledge of modernization initiatives related to federal program regulations
- Experience delivering technical solutions within a human services context
- Understanding of managing database changes impacting external data exchanges
