What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, execute, and improve the department's database and educational platforms
- Design and maintain in-house relational database applications
- Assist management in database application design and oversee related data entry processes
- Track metrics and analyze demand, satisfaction, and outcomes associated with database initiatives
- Provide user support, training, and documentation for applications development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with various databases
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Strong analytical skills to assess database needs and propose solutions
- No specific certification or professional license required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- M.B.A. or Master's degree
- 6 years of experience in data analysis and software development/testing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL
- Familiarity with tools like Apache Hadoop and AWS
- Experience with natural language processing and scalable web applications
