DCLAN Senior Lead Network Engineer

Provide leadership and senior level technical assistance for operational support.

Leadership in Data Center Network Operations in support of multiple technologies within an integrated support model.

Senior level responsibilities to design, evaluate, plan, and implement changes to the enterprise technology infrastructure.

Manage and ensure network security standards to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

Manage the efforts to Identify and troubleshoot network gaps and take the appropriate course of action to minimize risk exposure and service interruption.

Manage the program responsible for the modernization and upgrade of the DGN & DPC Networking environment.

Deliver on implementation projects and business initiatives.

Provide timely communication with Business Partners, Clients, and leadership.

Manage all aspects of relationships with vendors and service providers.

Ensure accurate input/update of network records and technical diagrams.

Manage facilitation of knowledge transfer to service and network operations personals.

Provide technical leadership during major incidents and drive to quick resolutions.

Manage network hardware refreshes and device upgrades.

Facilitate and ensure that the contractual SLAs are met for metrics including system availability, Network system response time, and Data processing accuracy.

Oversee that all new network services are designed to deliver the levels of availability required by the business and validate the final service design to meet operational needs of the business to ensure excellent service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Electronics Communications, Computer Information Systems, or related, and three (3) years in any occupation in which networking experience is gained Three (3) years in any occupation in which networking experience is gained must include: Cisco and Juniper Switching and Routing networks; F5 BigIP LTM and GTM appliances; BGP, EIGRP, RIP routing Protocols; Cisco Security: Telnet, NAT/ACLs and AAA; NX-OS operation system on 7K, 5K and 2K series; Infoblox IP Management system; Net-Cool SevOne Traffic monitoring tool; WAN/MAN/LAN/Data Center Network Operational technologies; and Security features such as VPNs, SSN and IPSec.

ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

Salary: $151,466.00 - $152,466.00 per year
