Delta 1 Trading Assistant

As a Barclays Delta 1 Trade Capture Specialist, you will be accountable for providing exceptional assistance to our trading desks across London and Luxembourg. You will ensure accurate trade booking in line with reporting regulations, monitor risk and provide expert knowledge to our stakeholders. You’ll also have an opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the Markets business including Trading, Sales, Operations, Execution brokers, Settlements and Product teams.

What will you be doing?
• Assisting the Delta 1 trading suite (Delta 1 /SFG/ P3/LUX /STG as part of the trading assistant function reporting directly into the business
• Meeting stringent compliant and regulatory guidelines with trade execution bookings
• Owning complex booking flows on behalf of Trading and Sales, as well as manual trade bookings including TRS, OTC Options, IRS, FX FWDs, Stock Executions, Futures
• Responding to business aligned queries internally and externally
• Interacting daily with clients, trading, operations and risk management teams
• Investigating daily FX, MTM and delta exposures

What we’re looking for:
• Proven relevant Investment Banking experience gained within a Trade Capture or similar environment
• Experience and knowledge of trade lifecycle with prior experience gained within middle office or trade support
• Team player with a high level of drive, commitment, enthusiasm as well as being a good communicator
• Firm knowledge of the Delta-1 Synthetics business and its product offering Clients

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Capability to quickly grasp new regulatory concepts and know the implications on our booking model
• Prior experience gained within a D1/Equity Financing environment advantageous
• Previous experience gained within a Tier 1 Investment Bank preferable
