  - Proficiency in oral and written communication
  - Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation OR eligibility to obtain CDA through RDH/occupational experience
  - Satisfactory clinical experience in Dental Assisting
  - Ability to work flexible hours

  - Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in any field
  - DA-II or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certifications (Virginia Board of Dentistry)
  - Teaching experience in college-level courses

  - Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
